Peter holds a Postgraduate degree in Construction Management and a National Higher Diploma in Building & Civil Engineering (BTech degree). He is the recipient of the Johnnie Walker “Striding Man Award” and Good Hope FM “Community Hero” award for his unending work in the underprivileged communities in and around Cape Town.
Peter ran his own construction company 1999-2014 and was the recipient for many awards including the ABSA-WECBOF “Business Person of the Year” in the Western Cape and the prestigious “SMME Business Africa Award” in construction awarded by the University of Stellenbosch School of Business
Peter is passionate about arts and culture, youth development and teaching entrepreneurship. He runs specific programs through “Frontiers Youth-Serving-Youth” an organization started by his father in 1969 at the Methodist Church in Bunny Street Kensington and operates as a NPO in Factreton today. Peter is also a published author of two books “By Bravery & Faith” a tribute to his fathers’ legacy and “Hunting the Past” a true-life cautionary tale about friendship and divine intervention. Peter’s presentations include a combination of both books and his 56 years of work and life experience as an inspiring background and practical case study to youth and adults related our life-journey.
